Paint curing overviewMidwest Metal Fabrication has a temperature controlled curing oven that provide the ability to thoroughly cure an applied paint prior to shipment of the component to a customer's production line or inventory. Typical curing temperatures range from 130° F to 160° F in low humidity conditions. Curing oven size(s)Midwest Metal Fabrication's curing ovens can accommodate pieces that are 13’ long x 13' wide x 8” thick. Curing cycle (time)Cure and cool off times typically range from 60 to 120 minutes dependent on the paint applied and the customers’ specifications. Curing control system(s)Midwest Metal Fabrication personnel control and monitor the curing oven temperature and humidity using a computerized system that automatically adjusts itself to keep the curing temperatures constant as specified. Other complementary servicesMidwest Metal Fabrication offers complementary cleaning services. Prior to painting, each piece is cleaned, rinsed in a three-stage rinse, and oven dried before it is painted. Paint adhesion is very high, as a result of our cleaning-prior-to-paint process.
