Barrel tumbling overview

Midwest Metal fabrication uses horizontal barrel tumblers that utilize a variety of loose abrasives for post fabricationcleaning, descaling, and deburring, radiusing, and deflashing of small and medium size components in preparation for surface coating, assembly, or shipment to the customer.

Typical workpieces

We can barrel tumble small blanked and formed components, weldments, and fabrications up to 10” long x 10” wide x 2” thick.

Surface finishes available

We can provide cleaned components with a coarse surface finish.

Maximum workpiece size
